Well sorry to let down my loyal followers again, more stuff has come up outside of blogging so I'll try to update every now and then. This blog will no longer be daily, it may be weekly or every couple of days. I'll try to get at least two posts a month at the very least.
School's starting back up for me next Tuesday, I don't mind school that much its just the getting up early part that kills me. Hopefully school will bring something blogworthy to talk about.
Performing necromancy upon this blog,

Not too much happens around these parts.
Pretty much all in the title, I've been busy with the band and work over the weekend, other than that I have absolutely nothing to blog about so hopefully tomorrow something interesting or note worthy happens.
I have been playing Forza 3 a lot in the wee hours of the morning before I fall asleep, that game is really addicting for me. Can't wait for Forza 4 this October, I might spoil myself and preorder the collector's edition to get the bonus cars.
I also saw Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides with a few friends, and I actually think that it was my favorite of the 4 Pirates movies. I thought it was really good, and it was also the first movie I've seen in a theatre in almost a year.
Waiting for some excitement,

Hrm...
I saw it on a couple other blogs, and should I add a reply option to comments? It would make the comment form come in pop-up box, which personally I don't like. Your opinions?
I've been really busy with the band today, and I will be again on Sunday so just a quick post. Got a couple song ideas we're playing around with for the next song which will be a bit harder I think.
Aces High, by Iron Maiden
Welcome Home, by Coheed and Cambria
War Pigs, by Black Sabbath
War Pigs is probably the easiest of the three in my opinion, followed by Aces High and Welcome Home, only because thats the order I've practiced them. Welcome Home has a pretty wicked solo, but we could do solos for me and the other guitarist on Aces High.
Feeling musically inclined

Woops.
After this I won't do any knife posts for a while as not to bore anyone unless you guys want to see pictures of it that I've taken and aren't stock photos, but already I have two small cuts from playing with my knife too much haha. Nothing big yet, just two nicks on my thumb about the size of papercuts. I will admit though, the knife is definitely good quality, its a made in the USA Bear & Sons knife, and the blade is fairly thick and has a good cutting edge.
Here is an article about the history of the Balisong, and I found it very interesting because I thought they originated in the Philippines, but this article pretty well proves that they might have started in Europe, with an English patent dated to 1880.
In other news, my school has been under construction and we might end up starting a week later this year which is cool and all but means that summer will start later as well. Oh well not much to be done about that.
And one final thing, I've heard rumors that Sprint will carry the iPhone 5. If you know anything about Sprint, they have arguably the best data package rates of any mobile carrier, and I'm really considering dropping Verizon just to get an iPhone for the first time.
My thumb has stopped bleeding now as I'm finishing up typing this,

When you say Illegal...
So this is the knife I ordered, it's supposed to be here on the 4th. Pretty cool right?
As to why I got it, I collect knives somewhat, but I'm a pretty big nerd and have always been interested in history behind them and other knives like the kris that I have. I also have a little experience with flipping these, which is addictive.
As for the legality of it, laws in the US are pretty sketchy about butterfly knives. I've heard that they are and aren't illegal where I live, so I figure as long as it a) pretty much doesn't leave my house when I go to a public place, at least visible or on my person and b) isn't used as a weapon I'm fine
Still going to be a little busy tomorrow as well.

Nostalgia = Win
So the other day I was talking to a friend who's been there for me my entire life, and we were talking about the "good old days" playing gamecube and having no worries and it made me think of some of my favorite games ever. I'd have to say that I had more fun playing the gamecube than any other system I've ever played.
One of the first games that came up was Timesplitters. If you've ever played it, you'll understand. If not, its a hilarious FPS time traveling game that is 10000x funner than any modern FPS. Though, while googling for videos of it, I found out that a Timesplitters 4 is "to be announced" and Crytek could be working on it.
So I came up with a mini list of my top 7 or 8 games which includes Timesplitters, obviously,Metroid Prime, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles,Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Tales of Symphonia, Super Smash Bros Melee, and Sonic Adventure
If you noticed, I linked each of those games, except Timesplitters, to a video with a song from each that still gives me goosebumps.
So I leave now, with a fairly long post, asking what are your favorite/most nostalgic games? Any games that the music still haunts you to today?
