And man was there a storm yesterday. I don't know how many of you experienced it, but I got some of the really heavy rain. No tornados touched down here, but I saw a picture of a high school completely destroyed.
Rainbows! |
But that rain, that was the hardest we've had all year. I almost hydroplaned my car coming off the dam, the tires started to spin a bit.
And now, lovely Ohio is cold again. What a bummer.
Missing the warm weather,

I love rainbows!
ReplyDeletedriving in heavy rain can be the scariest.
ReplyDeleteWe had a pretty good snowstorm going here
ReplyDeleteGlad to know you made it through the hydroplane.
ReplyDeleteThe warmth before spring hardly ever lasts, good luck staying warm.
Ugh, it's so hot here in my country. I wouldn't mind rainy weather everyday.
ReplyDeleteI'd heard there were some bad storms, glad none of them got to you.
ReplyDeleteGlad all is well and no tornado tried to send you to Oz. Did you go out in search of that pot of gold?..haha
ReplyDeleteWell it did rain here in Australia for two days, heavy rain to be precise. Like real heavy but I don't if they're related. But still, at least you're not affected as much as other people.
ReplyDeletethose storms have been crazy
ReplyDeleteglad you avoided the tornadoes. That whole storm front was pretty intense
ReplyDeleteI live in SC, and we had about 3 tornado watches a day recently. Crazy weather
ReplyDeleteI live in Florida, tornadoes don't happen often, but I do get shittones of hurricanes.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have heavy rains than thunder storms. Heavy rains might cause a flood but thunder storms are still way more scary.
ReplyDeleteOhio. It certainly is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHaving lived in FL for many years I know how it is, hydroplaning is scary as hell..
ReplyDeletei've never experienced any crazy storms myself
ReplyDeleteGreat pic, and be sure to drive safe when it's wet, it can turn into a bad situation quickly.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from your neighbor to the east (Pennsylvania) we had it here too and now it is 33 degrees outside (Fahrenheit). It is supposed to be in the high 50's tomorrow :)
ReplyDeleteHydroplaning is a nightmare on my local roads! The hedges like my car.
